Kant’s Account of Moral Experience: How the Moral Law Determines the Will.
ATS3238 - Kant's Critique of Practical Reason
14 Pages • Essays / Projects • Year: Pre-2021
This is the essay I submitted for the Monash reading unit on Immanuel Kant's Critique of Practical Reason. For this assignment I received a mark of 80/100. In this essay, I attempt to analyse and explain Kant's idea of how his categorical imperative operates when it guides moral actions, i.e., how Kant's rule, in itself, can influence or affect the will or decision-making power of rational beings. This may be a useful resource for philosophy students studying Kant's Second Critique or for anyone else trying to understand the categorical imperative.
