This is the review of introduction of database. It generates weekly studying points and the important examinable contents. It includes the theoretical and practical things. It explains the terminology of each week's lecture and the coding pattern for SQL. For example, a composite key is a key that is composed of more than one attribute. A superkey is a key that can uniquely identify any row in the table. A candidate key is a minimal superkey—that is, a superkey with- out any unnecessary attributes. SELECT, also known as RESTRICT, is referred to as a unary operator because it only uses one table as input. PROJECT yields all values for selected attributes. It is also a unary operator, accepting only one table as input.
